PICKERING Food Share is organising a tabletop sale at Ings Garth Community Centre.
The fundraiser is being held at the community centre on Pike Road, in Pickering, on July 31 (Saturday) from 10am.
Tables cost £5 each, but entry to the sale is free.
Volunteer Margaret Kirby said: “Pickering Food Share has now fed more than 11,600 people and saved 40,500 kg of food from going to waste.
“The organisation does not make a charge for the food but does appreciate donations from the recipients to cover the expense of running the food share.
“Refreshments will also be served on the day, so donations of cakes will be appreciated too.”
All tables must be booked in advance by calling 07340 387826.
