A MALTON brewery which has created a unique beer is offering a special gift for Father's Day.

Malton Brewery brews it’s beer in a characterful Grade 2 Listed building located on the banks of the River Derwent

The new Malton Brewery is owned and managed by Howard Kinder who started Horsetown Beers in 2016.

Last year, Howard came up with the idea of a Yorkshire Pudding Beer, which has since proved popular both in the county and further afield.

He said: “It’s not a beer to make Yorkshire Puddings with, it’s Yorkshire Pudding beer.

“Our Yorkshire Pudding Beer is made on the same principles as homemade Yorkshire Puddings.

“You will find our Yorkshire Pudding Beer light, easy and soft on the palate, just like what a great Yorkshire Pudding should taste like

Howard said: "It's taken me by surprise by how popular the Pudding Beer has become.

"We still brew it at the brewery but we've had to move the bulk of the production out to another brewery with bigger equipment. It's only in Pickering so not far away.

Howard said: "We now use 3,500 Yorkshire Puddings in every brew. We get them from The Real Yorkshire Pudding Co in Doncaster.

" I take the mishaps/underweight Puds. This stops them going into landfill so the beer is now a circular economy product.

It's taken along time but in the next few weeks we will be selling the beer in three Morrison supermarkets in North Yorkshire."
