FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a tumble dryer fire.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service say they were called out at 1:49pm yesterday (May 31) to a house in Rosedale, near Pickering.
A crew from Pickering and one from Kirkbymoorside attended and found the fire was out on arrival.
A spokesman for the service said: “Crews from Pickering and Kirkbymoorside attended a fire to some oily clothes in a tumble dryer.
“The fire was out on their arrival. The tumble dryer was isolated and then moved to the open air and its contents dowsed down with a hose reel jet.”
