THE York Fun Fair Fun Park is returning to the city next week with over 20 rides and attractions.

The fun fair will visit the Roko Health Club next to Clifton Moor Retail Park from Thursday, May 13 through until Sunday, May 23.

From white knuckle thrillers to wholesome family fun, the most spectacular ride is set to be the Snow Storm which spins riders upside down in suspended seats.

There will also be favourites like the Dodgems, the G Force, the Waltzer and the Sizzler Twist. New additions include a kids roller coaster, the Cliffhanger and a selection of children’s rides.

Food, games and bungee trampolines are payable once inside the security-controlled site so mum and dad can always enjoy a coffee while the kids enjoy the rides.

“We have gone above and beyond,” George Rowland Tucker, one of the organisers, said.

“The rides and attractions once inside the fun park are all treated with a disinfectant fog on a regular basis and we are fully compliant with all Government guidelines in relation to reducing COVID-19 and mitigating any risks to our guests."

Visitors are asked to maintain the rule of six, sign in using the NHS test and trace app while those eligible are expected to wear facemasks when queueing and experiencing the rides.

The fun fair has also asked that nobody attends if they have symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who has had coronavirus in the last 14 days.

Tickets are priced as a one off admission charge of £7.99, giving you two hours of adrenaline and joy on all the rides.
