ARMED police were called to a property in Norton on Saturday following an incident involving threats of violence with weapons.
Armed Response, police officers and the dog unit attended the incident at a house in Vine Street just before 6pm.
A police spokesperson said: "At around 5.50pm on Saturday 8 May, police attended a scene in Vine Street, Norton, following reports of an incident involving threats of violence with weapons.
"Specialist trained officers searched the property, however no offenders nor weapons were discovered.
"Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, or who has any information, is asked to contact police on 101. Please quote reference number 12210113918."
