Every week, we hear from the excellent staff at Oak Tree Animals' Charity about adorable pets that are in need of loving homes in our region.

From family pets to pets more suited to being a loving home companion, Oak Tree Animals' Charity have the expertise to help match you with a pet that will fit your requirements and, most importantly, will fit right in with your life and routine as well as adding some much-needed companionship.

DIESEL

Diesel arrived at Oak Tree when her owner sadly passed away.

She is a sensitive 6 year old lady who may take a while to settle in to her new life but, once she gets to know, you she is super affectionate. We are looking for a quiet home with no young children (12 years or older) and no other pets as Diesel isn't used to a busy home.

We don't know if Diesel has had any outdoor access so we are looking for a home in a quiet area as we aren't sure if she has any road sense.

Do you have a quiet home to offer this sensitive soul?

CASPER

Casper stands at 15.2hh and is a gentle giant looking for a home as a companion.

He is dominant with other equines and would therefore suit pairing with a horse that is happy not being the boss or with a horse that will stick up for itself. He is about 14 years old and has lived with both mares and geldings and is fine with both.

Caspar loves attention and being groomed and is good to do in all ways.

He is currently living out 24/7 with a field shelter and is happy to be stabled or equally content staying out in the field.

Could Casper be the friendly companion you’ve been looking for?
