FIREFIGHTERS had to cut the roof off a car to free an occupant inside after a crash yesterday.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said that crews from Pickering and Helmsley were called to the accident involving a car and a lorry on Village Street in Keldholme, Kirkbymoorside, at 3.53pm.
A spokesperson said: “One person was trapped in the car and crews used hydraulic cutting gear to remove the roof of the car.”
