A NEW grocery store is officially opening tomorrow (April 16).

Following a £1 million investment to relocate to a new, more spacious, location Co-op in Kirkbymoorside is ready to open their new 5,300 sq. ft. store with 25 local jobs including six new positions and the store will run on 100% renewable electricity..

Around three times larger than its previous store, the new Piercy End location includes customer car parking, Costa coffee express, hot food, photo booth and rug doctor alongside an increased range of fresh, healthy produce, meal ideas, award winning wines, ready meals and pizzas, free-from, vegan and plant-based products, Fairtrade, food-to-go and, everyday essentials.

Contactless card payment limits are increased to £45, making it easier, quicker and safer to shop.
