RYEDALE Foodbank is reopening for collections for the residents of Malton and Norton.

Due to changes to covid restrictions from April 12, collections will be available to people living in Malton and Norton.

Deliveries of food parcels will continue in Pickering until June.

A spokesperson said: "This to start with as per Government guidelines and will only be for referrals authorised via a registered agency and the voucher number will be required. No walk in’s will be allowed at this stage.

Deliveries will continue outside of Malton and Norton and in the Pickering area until we can reopen there."

The foodbank will be open at Elim Church in Castlegate on Wednesdays, 10am to 12noon and 7a Howe Road in Norton, Wednesdays and Fridays, 1 to 3pm.
