TWO youngsters have collected bags of rubbish on their daily walk after seeing the amount of litter dumped by people.
Isabelle and Harry Campbell-Robson, who live in Broughton, were shocked to see the amount of litter that was just thrown into the hedges, harming the environment and wildlife.
Their mum, Angela , said: “They both wanted to do something about it and collected two big bags of rubbish along their walk. They were also very upset at the amount of dog poo bags that are just thrown into the bushes when there are bins all along that route.”
Angela said the pair had also been recognised for their efforts on ITV’s This Morning.
“ They were both very shocked to of been picked and they both won a backpack and stationery which they were very excited to receive.
“I am very proud of them both how they wanted to make a difference and inspiring some of their friends to do the same where they live.”
