Motorist fined £317 for driving without 'care or attention'
A MOTORIST has been fined for exceeding the 50mph limit near Helmsley.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police Traffic Bureau recorded a van driver exceeding the 50mph limit on the A170 near Helmsley and driving without due care or attention.
They tweeted: “A van driver who was recorded exceeding the 50mph limit on the A170 west of Helmsley, as well as driving without due care and attention, has been found guilty at court.
“The driver was given 9 points on his licence and ordered to pay £317 in fine and costs.”
