FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a fire in Pickering.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service say a crew attended a small fire involving a carpet and white goods yesterday afternoon, at around 1.30pm, on Marton Lane.
A spokesperson said: "A crew attended a small fire in the open involving a carpet and white goods.
"The crew used a bucket of water to extinguish the fire. The cause is believed to be a dropped light."
