A reader is appealing for more information on this old photograph taken during the Second World War
A GAZETTE & Herald reader is appealing for more information on this old photograph.
Brian Souter,who lives in Harrogate, is hoping someone can shed more light on this picture which was taken during the Second World War.
He said: "One of my ‘lockdown’ activities is Family Tree Research.
"I have discovered a photograph with my father-in-law, who is sadly no longer with us, in a Home Guard group photograph.
" He was based at Slingsbys during World War Two working on the production of gliders and I think that the photograph may be a Pickering based group.
"Any information would be gratefully received about the group or anyone in it.."
