ALL but one area of Ryedale has seen a rise in new cases of coronavirus in the seven days leading up to December 30, according to the latest figures.

Figures from Public Health England show only Kirkbymoorside and Moors. It had four cases, down by seven on the previous seven days.

Malton and Norton saw the biggest jump, with a rise of 34 new cases on the previous seven days, followed by Helmsley and Ampleforth with a 22 and Sheriff Hutton, Slingsby and Swinton with 18.

 

For Ryedale and surrounding area, the figures for the seven days up to December 30 are (seven–day rolling rate in brackets):
