THE Talbot Hotel in Malton came to the rescue for a couple’s last minute wedding plans.

Hannah Wade, who works at Willowgreen Estate Agents, and security officer Tony Whitehead were married at short notice and left without a venue for their wedding photos.

However, the day was saved by Steve Brown, general manager of the Talbot Hotel, who stepped in and offered the couple use of York House.

Hannah said: “We were so grateful because we only knew we were going to get married two weeks ago when the Malton Register Office called out of the blue to say they had a 5pm space on the Monday before Christmas.”

Hannah and Tony and their seven-year-old daughter Aria were joined by one other special guest for their wedding photoshoot - her office dog Lola.

“Aria loves Lola and wanted her in the pictures too,” said Hannah.

Steve, whose hotel is a member of the Coaching Inn Group, said he was delighted to have been able to assist on the couple’s special day.
