THERE have been 167 new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Ryedale and Scarborough over the weekend.
The latest figures by Public Health England show Ryedale has had 36 new cases since Friday, taking its total to 859. Scarborough had 131 new cases taking its total to 3,536.
There have no more Covid-related deaths have been reported at either York or Scarborough hospitals.
NHS England said the total number of coronavirus fatalities at York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since the start of the pandemic remained at 345.
The figures below show (in this order) - the district, number of cases in the past seven day, the seven day rate per 100,000 population, and the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic.
Ryedale - 37, 66.8, 859
Scarborough - 273, 251, 3,536
City of York - 196, 93.1, 6,166
North Yorkshire - 778, 151.8, 15,388
East Riding of Yorkshire - 518, 139.8, 11,213
Nationally, there has been 33,364 new cases and 215 deaths.
