SIX more patients with coronavirus have died at York and Scarborough hospitals.
NHS England said today that the total number of Covid-related deaths at York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust hospitals had risen to 334 from 328 yesterday.
Meanwhile, the latest figures by Public Health England show Ryedale had five new confirmed cases of coronavirus, taking its total to 813. Scarborough had 37 new cases taking its total to 3,282.
The figures below show (in this order) - the district, number of cases in the past seven day, the seven day rate per 100,000 population, and the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic.

City of York - 131, 62.2, 5,945
North Yorkshire - 593, 95.9, 14,654
East Riding of Yorkshire - 430, 126, 10,840
Nationally, there were 18,450 new cases. All of these figures include both pillar 1 and pillar 2 cases. There were 506 deaths (those within 28 days of positive test) taking the total to 64,908.
