AN outdoor music event is returning to Scampston Hall next year following its successful debut.
Sounds in the Grounds took place in the grounds of the stately home near Malton in the summer and will be back for three days next year from June 11-13.
Back by popular demand, The New York Brass Band will get the party started as the support act to each concert, which will feature either The Definitive Rat Pack, One Night of Tina or Killer Queen,
Concert-goers will have their own designated picnic patch - for two, four or six people - which will be socially-distanced from others, but close enough to share the fun.
Organiser James Cundall said: “I’m delighted that after the success of Sounds in the Grounds last summer, we are back. These picnic concerts are a great opportunity to get together and enjoy a fun night of live music in a stunning setting in a socially distanced way.
“From the glorious iconic songs of Sinatra to the rock classics of Tina Turner and Queen, I hope we have something for everyone.”
Tickets for the three different concerts start at £59 (plus booking fees) for a standard picnic patch for two people. Go to soundsinthegrounds.seetickets.com
