A CANNABIS farm growing around £150,000 worth of drugs has been busted by police.
Acting on information from members of the public, the Hartlepool Community Safety Neighbourhood Policing Team discovered the large cannabis farm at an address on Mitchell Street, Hartlepool.
Approximately £150,000 worth of plants were recovered and associated equipment.
A man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and is currently helping police with their enquiries.
PC Graham Smith said: 'We continue to act on information received by concerned residents about suspicious activity in our communities and encourage anyone to contact us with information via 101 or crimestoppers."
