THERE has been one more death related to Covid-19 recorded in the York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The data from NHS England shows that the total number of deaths related to the virus in the York trust is now 307. The trust includes both York Hospital and Scarborough.
Meanwhile, there have been 42 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Ryedale and Scarborough.
Figures from Public Health England shows Ryedale has had five new cases, taking its total to 739, and 37 in Scarborough, taking its total to 2,927.

Nationally, there were 16,170 new cases. All of these figures include both pillar 1 and pillar 2 cases. There were 648 deaths (those within 28 days of positive test) taking the total to 59,699.
