THERE have been 17 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Ryedale and Scarborough.
Figures from Public Health England shows Ryedale has had two new cases, taking its total to 734, and 15 in Scarborough, taking its total to 2,890.
The figures below show (in this order) - the district, number of cases in the past seven day, seven day rate per 100,000 population and total number of cases since the start of the pandemic
Ryedale - 56, 101.1, 734
Scarborough - 165, 151.7, 2,890
City of York - 204, 96.9, 5,659
North Yorkshire - 747, 120.9, 13,356
East Riding of Yorkshire - 689, 202, 9,857
Nationally, there were 13,430 new cases. All of these figures include both pillar 1 and pillar 2 cases. There were 603 deaths (those within 28 days of positive test) taking the total to 59,051.
