SCARBOROUGH'S coronavirus rate has continued to fall after 49 new cases were confirmed in the previous 24 hours.
Public Health England say the town's seven-day figure per 100,000 population is now 534.2, down from 603.2. Ryedale saw 13 new cases confirmed, taking its total since the start of the pandemic to 622.
Meanwhile, there have been no further deaths related to Covid-19 recorded at hospitals in the York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The data from NHS England shows that the total number of deaths related to the virus in the York trust remains at 261. The trust includes York and Scarborough hospitals.
