EVERY dog has its day and today we feature ten of your canine best friends on our pets page.
These pampered pooches have a penchant for all sorts of weird and wonderful things.
We have a pedigree pug who loves living it up at festivals, a French bulldog with 7,000 followers on Instagram, a German Shepherd rescued from Spain who just never stops talking and a shitzhu who lunches.
We feature ten much-loved Hampshire pets in paper and online each Saturday.

- FRENCH bulldog Frankie Madwood has 7,000 followers on Instagram. The four-year-old can open doors, jump like a kangaroo and stare anyone out.
- FIVE-year-old Southampton Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Ben is Ryan’s shadow and best friend. He’s rather good at eating and sleeping.
- JACK Russell Chester is always looking for a game of fetch or a snuggle on the sofa. Described as a crazy boy, he loves a paddle and snow.
- FOUR-year-old springer Lily is loving and loyal and never without a tennis ball! She also catches flies and spiders.
- SHITZU and Staffy dogs Bob and Rocky have been a lifeline for Helen Young throughout both lockdowns. Her best friends, Bob came from a breeder in Totton and Rocky was rehomed.
- HAMPSHIRE pedigree pug Minnie Chapman loves a belly rub, a good run and even living it up at festivals.
The two-year-old is very energetic and constantly on the go. - POPPY the princess loves to go shopping and is a lady who lunches. The shitzhu likes to climb trees and once had to be rescued by an off duty firefighter.
- HARLEY and Ralph are always entertaining. They once ran away, got taken to kennels in Bishops Waltham and felt very sorry for themselves after!
- GERMAN Shepherd Prince is a rescue dog from Spain and likes to talk a lot! He is very loveable and likes being fussed over.
