THE photographic skills of our readers never fail to amaze us, and this week’s batch of photographs proves that point perfectly.

You’ve been out and about in the early mornings, as the sun sets, and everything in between, capturing on camera this wonderful set of autumnal pictures taken across North Yorkshire.

The sun is the star performer in three of our pictures this week.

Jo Leatham and Pete Lamb both headed out later in the day to catch the sun going down; Jo on the coast at Robin Hood’s Bay, and Pete near Westow Church.

Meanwhile, Sarah Banks was up and about early on a morning walk when she saw the sun rising through the ferns in Huttons Banks Wood, near Huttons Ambo.

Nick Fletcher was quick to catch this rainbow over Malton during the sunshine and showers autumn has delivered so far. But these farmers in Elizabeth Gray’s picture of harvesting in Cold Kirby have managed to find a drier spell.

And finally, Stuart Frank and George Tremain have both gone for pictures of the wildlife living around us.

We love to see our readers’ photographs. It could be a seasonal landscape or simply your favourite view of our beautiful surroundings.
