THERE has been one further death related to Covid-19 recorded at hospitals in the York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The data from NHS England shows that the total number of deaths related to the virus in the trust now stands at 226. The trust includes York Hospital and Scarborough.
Meanwhile, there have been four new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Ryedale.
Public Health England is now providing data, which shows the total number of cases reported in our area for the whole of the pandemic, as well as the number of new cases in the last seven days and the seven day rate per 100,000 population.

Ryedale - 59, 106.5, 370 (up four in the previous 24 hours)
Scarborough - 108, 99.3, 1,136 (up 22)
City of York - 648, 307.7, 3,191 (up 119)
North Yorkshire - 855, 138.3, 6,619
East Riding of Yorkshire - 571, 167.4, 3,823
Nationally, there have been 20,530 new cases, taking the total to 830,998. All of these figures include both pillar 1 and pillar 2 cases.
There have been 224 deaths in the UK, taking the total to 44,571.
