SIX new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Ryedale.
Public Health England is now providing data, which shows the total number of cases reported in our area for the whole of the pandemic, as well as the number of new cases in the last seven days and the seven day rate per 100,000 population.
Our figures below show (in this order) - the district, number of cases in the past seven day, seven day rate per 100,000 population and total number of cases since the start of the pandemic
Ryedale - 57, 102.9, 366 (up six in the previous 24 hours)
Scarborough - 105, 96.5, 1,114 (up 20 in the previous 24 hours)
City of York - 635, 301.5, 3,072 (up 56 in the previous 24 hours)
North Yorkshire - 855, 138.3, 3,689 (up 122 in the previous 24 hours)
East Riding of Yorkshire - 571, 167.4, 3,689 (up 101 in the previous 24 hours)
Nationally, there have been 21,242 new cases, taking the total to 810,467. All of these figures include both pillar 1 and pillar 2 cases.
There have been 189 deaths in the UK, taking the total to 44,347
