RILLINGTON Primary School has closed until after half-term following a confirmed case of Covid-19.
In a letter to parents, acting headteacher Carrie Stabler, said: " We have followed the national guidance and have identified those children and members of staff who have been in close contact with the affected person. In line with the national guidance, those children and members of staff have been advised to now stay at home and self-isolate until Friday, October 30.
"If you have not been notified separately by the Academy that your child needs to self-isolate then your child has not been in close contact with the affected person and does not need to self-isolate.
"However, unfortunately Rillington Primary School will now be closed until Monday, November 2. We are very sorry for this inconvenience but we have no alternative but to follow DFE and PHE guidance and advice."
Welburn Primary School has also closed until November 2 after a member of staff tested positive for coronavirus.
