A RAILWAY is back up and running after a truck crashed into a bridge near Goathland.
The North Yorkshire Moors Railway Optimist Service at 9.20am had to be cancelled this morning after a bridge strike near Goathland left the track littered with debris.
NYMR staff were quick to assess the situation and trains were given the all clear to get up and running again from 12pm.
The bridge remains open and businesses in the village are able to trade as normal.
