New cases of coronavirus confirmed in Ryedale, and two more deaths in hospital
SIX new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Ryedale.
The latest data from Public Health England shows the total number of cases reported in our area are:
Ryedale - 341 - up six in the previous 24 hours (615.7 rate per 100,000 population)
Scarborough - 1,044 up 18 (959.9)
City of York - 2,773 up 87 (1,316.6)
North Yorkshire - 5,970 up 117 (965.9)
East Riding of Yorkshire - 3,321 up 85 (973.4)
Nationally, there have been 16,982 new cases, taking the total to 741,212. All of these figures include both pillar 1 and pillar 2 cases.
A further 80 have died in the UK, taking the total to 43,726.
