THE Star Inn at Harome has closed for two weeks after a member of staff tested positive for coronavirus.
A positive test has also been recorded at the Stapleton arms at Wass, which has closed for a fortnight.
At the Feversham Arms in Helmsley, a member of staff is self-isolating after coming into contact with someone who had tested positive.
Andrew Pern, chef and owner at the Star said: " We can confirm that, as a precautionary measure, following a confirmed Covid-19 case amongst our part time front of house team, all our other front of house members and kitchen team members whose working hours overlapped with the positive case, are currently in isolation.
"Our hotel continues to operate with a separate team of staff and we will be reopening the restaurant, initially for hotel residents only, with a team of staff who have either tested negative for the virus or whose working hours did not overlap.."
A spokesperson for the Feversham Arms said a staff member had been alerted through track and test.
"As soon as that person was notified they self isolated," they added.
"Public Health England has been informed and the hotel has taken every necessary measure under the current guidance."
