GAZETTE & Herald readers have been out and about with their cameras capturing this week’s stunning selection of photographs.

And as usual it is some of our feathered and flurry neighbours who have been catching the eyes of our readers.

Both Stuart Frank and the Ryedale Snapographer spotted these owls

high up in the trees, whereas Jon Hardacre was at eye-level with this deer on the Carrs on the south side of Pickering.

The other readers featured this week have had their focus drawn to the changing landscapes around us.

David Cragg-James saw these last roses of summer in Stonegrave and Pete Lamb spotted the autumn colours arriving in Westow.

Deanna Briggs, Rodney Lee and Rachel Hall have submitted three brilliant pictures, all framing perfectly either the sun rising or setting, or the mist rolling in.

And finally, Nick Fletcher managed to enjoy some sunshine in Whitby.

Each week we like to showcase your photographs.

It could be a seasonal landscape or simply your favourite view of our beautiful surroundings.

If you would like to submit a picture, email it to gazette@gazetteherald.co.uk.

Please include details of where it was taken, your name, address and phone number.

Keep snapping!
