Chimney fire call-out for Malton firefighters
FIRE crews were called to a chimney fire near Malton last night.
Firefighters from Malton attended a house in Broughton at 11.47pm.
The fire was confined to the chimney so crews inspected and made the chimney safe. They used a nine-metre ladder, working at height gear, a thermal imaging camera and a hearth kit.
