Kitchen damaged after chip pan catches fire
A KITCHEN has been damaged after a chip pan caught fire.
Fire crews were called to a house in Eastfield in Scarborough just after 5.30pm on Friday,
The fire caused damage to the kitchen and heat and smoke damage throughout the rest of the house.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire Service said: "Crews extinguished the fire and ventilated the property. The occupant of the house was checked over on scene by paramedics."
