There has been a total of 515,571 cases of the Covid-19 in the UK, 12,594 in the last 24 hours. There have been 19 deaths.

It comes after Public Health England said an issue had been identified overnight on Friday in the automated process that transferred positive cases data to PHE, which had now been resolved.

It said the cases published over the weekend included additional cases with specimen dates between September 25 and October 2, and were therefore artificially high for England and the UK.

All of these figures include both pillar 1 and pillar 2 cases.
