A planned A64 weekend closure this weekend is not going ahead due to the adverse weather forecast.
The road was due to be closed between Station Road in West Heslerton and St Hilda’s Street in Sherburn
A spokesperson for Highways England, said: "We are planning for the second weekend closure to be rearranged for Friday, October 9 at 8pm to Monday, October 12 at 6am)
"Access will be maintained for residents living within the area of the road that is closed. Anyone living outside of the closure points but needs to travel along the A64 can follow the clearly-signed diversion routes.
"The overnight closures happening Monday to Thursday this week on the A64 between Brambling Fields and Scagglethorpe have been taking place and are on plan.
