A MAN has been taken to hospital after a car crash yesterday evening (Wednesday).
Fire crews from Pickering and Kirkbymoorside were called to reports of a single vehicle collision near Pickering at around 8.25pm.
"A man was medically trapped inside the vehicle," said a spokesperson from North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service.
"Firefighters released the man who was taken to hospital by ambulance crews.
"Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment, stabalisiation, lighting and sharps protection."
