THE Vale of Pickering Art Club as holding its annual exhibition this weekend.
In view of the coronavirus pandemic safety measures will be in place, including a one-way system and restricted visitor numbers. Face masks must also be worn.
Lesley Price, from the group, said: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming visitors, old and new, to our celebration of art in Pickering.
“Art is a great healer, and we hope both members and visitors will benefit from a positive, creative environment and a small return to the more normal side of life.
“Most artworks will be for sale at very reasonable prices, and we are hoping to raise some money towards the Memorial Hall and the club.”
The exhibition will run from Saturday, September 5, to Sunday, September 13, and is open daily, from 10am to 5pm, closing early at 4pm on the last day.
Entry is free, but donations are welcome.
