MALTON has been named as one of the most dog-friendly staycation spots in the UK.
The town was one of five locations recommended to take your pet this summer.
Shannon Keary, campaigns manager at Canine Cottages, which carried out the survey, said: “2020 marks the rise of the British staycation, and with so many families preparing to holiday on home soil this year, it’s important to pick a destination where your dog is going to be welcome.
“Malton is an excellent location for a dog-friendly staycation. The town has plenty of dog-friendly pubs, hotels, and cafes, as well as great walks nearby for you and your dog to enjoy.”
