Man suffers facial injuries in disturbance in residential street
A MAN suffered facial injuries following a disturbance in a residential street.
Police were called to Runswick Avenue in Whitby at about 12.30am on Friday.
Officers found a man in his 50s with injuries to his face that required hospital treatment, including stitches.
A woman in her 40s was arrested in connection with the incident and released on conditional police bail,pending further enquiries.
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses.
