A ROAD will remain closed for more than two weeks as maintenance works are carried out.
Duddon Road in Walney will be closed for another 18 days for Cumbria County Council to carry out resurfacing works.
The road has been shut since July 27 and will reopen on August 21.
Alternative routes will be available via Duddon Drive, Mill Lane, West Shore Road, Derwent Bank, and Derwent Drive.
