Driver taken to hospital after car ends up on its side
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital following a crash.
The two-vehicle accident happened in Burniston Road in Scarborough, just before 9.30am yesterday.
North Yorkshire Fire Service said one of the cars landed on its side, trapping the occupant.
Fire crews removed the car roof and helped the female driver out, who was taken to hospital for a precautionary check-up.
The occupants of second vehicle were uninjured, added the fire service.
