NORTH Yorkshire County Council is pushing for increased investment into sustainable travel.
The council says it is disappointed with only receiving £133,000, half of the maximum available from the government’s emergency travel fund.
NYCC is pushing ahead with the second phase of the multi-million bid to support walking and cycling.
The authority says its commitment to active travel remains strong.
