A MOTORCYCLE was clocked by traffic police doing 122mph in a 60 zone through Ryedale last night.
North Yorkshire Police Traffic Bureau said the speed was recorded on the A64 near Malton.
A police spokesman said: "This speed shows a complete disregard to their safety and the safety of others. Enquiries have started and the rider will hear from us shortly."
Meanwhile, officers carrying out checks on the A170 on Monday near a school, recorded 18 vehicles exceeding the 30mph limit, four of which were within conditional offer criteria.
