A NORTON academy is celebrating after achieving an 88 per cent pass rate.
The Academy Hair and Beauty achieved the high pass rate for Level 2 Hairdressing and Level 2 Beauty Therapy written exams, with some students achieving a merit.
The written theory exams were completed before the coronavirus pandemic; all students will receive a calculated final grade which will be approved by City & Guilds.
“Congratulations to all students at The Academy,” said Lindsay Burr, Academy director.
“These written exam results are wonderful news.”
The Academy Hair and Beauty partners with more than 60 salons, spas and barbers around Ryedale, delivering City & Guilds Apprenticeships.
“We continue to support many salons, barbers and spas across the region who provide valuable work experience and apprenticeships,” added Lindsay.
“Thank you goes to students, parents, tutors and to our funding partners YH Training and the
ESFA.”
