Wildfire warning for North York Moors
THE North York Moors National Park Authority is urging the public to be mindful during wildfire season.
Following the recent dry conditions, the National Park Authority has reported deliberate fires in North Yorkshire over the last few weeks, putting unnecessary strain on the emergency services.
The National Park Authority issued a statement saying, “no one should be lighting fires or barbecues”.
