A SUPERMARKET has applied for permission to sell alcohol from two of its petrol stations.
Sainsbury’s has lodged two licence applications with Scarborough Council for its fuelling stations in Scarborough and Whitby.
The application for the Falsgrave Road store in Scarborough is out for public consultation until April 30.
For the Whitby store in Stainsacre Lane, the supermarket has applied to be able to sell alcohol from 6am to midnight seven days a week.
The closing date for the Whitby application is May 1.
