NORTH Yorkshire Police are appealing for any witnesses or dash cam footage regarding a red motorbike that was travelling at high speed on the A64 at Sherburn heading towards Scarborough between 10.45am and 11am on Saturday .
After noticing a police presence, it is believed the rider removed the number plate from the vehicle before continuing at speed on the A64 towards Scarborough.
Police are requesting any members of the public that may have been travelling on the A64 at the time of the incident and witnessed the vehicle involved.
Police are particularly keen to secure any dash cam footage that may have captured the motorcycle and rider involved during this incident.
