A HELMSLEY hotel is offering free meals for NHS workers.
The Feversham Arms and Verbena Spa, in Helmsley, are giving something back by cooking a selection of homemade meals, including lamb pasta pots and Yorkshire rhubarb crumble.
The kitchen staff, led by executive chef, Adam Jackson, have included an attached note with allergen advice and cooking instruction.
Tracy Milnes, head of marketing at The Feversham Arms and Verbena Spa, said:“Whilst the team were heartbroken by the closure, they were determined to do something meaningful for the frontline NHS staff, who essentially are keeping the rest of us safe.
“It was the very least they could do, sharing their skills and expertise for the benefit of the wonderful NHS staff at York Hospital.”
The hotel is rescheduling cancellations for hotel, restaurant and spa treatments due to the coronavirus pandemic. For more information, go to fevershamarmshotel.com.
