PLANS have been submitted for a seaside observation wheel and adventure golf course in Scarborough.
The Observation Wheel UK, which ran the attraction in 2019, have submitted the schemes outline to the Scarborough Borough Council.
Operating at the Scarborough’s Futurist Theatre, the 32-metre high wheel carries a maximum of 144 passengers in the 24 enclosed pods.
Captain Jack’s Adventure Golf, an 18-hole family golf course, is to be positioned directly adjacent to the observation wheel.
The documents were submitted before the coronavirus pandemic led to a lockdown of the UK but, if planning permission was granted, it would allow the company to install the attraction when it is over.
