A HUGE round of applause will be taking place tonight (Thursday, March 26) to say a massive thank you to the NHS staff and carers in our communities working tirelessly during the coronavirus pandemic.
Organisers of Clap for our Carers are asking everyone across the country who can to clap at 8pm on March 26 - whether it's in your garden, on your doorstep at a window.
It follows similar demonstrations of appreciation across the globe in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
*Please send us pictures and videos of the Clap for our Carers taking place in your street to gazette@gazetteherald.co.uk so we can create a gallery of images of what should be an inspiring show of support. But make sure there's parental permission if there are children in the pics or video, and also make sure everyone stays socially distanced throughout!
